Early signs of disease can often be present in the periphery of the retina and can remain undetected with traditional tests and standard retinal photography. Optomap ultra-widefield imaging is a quick and painless test that lets us view up to 80% of your retina in a single image where standard photography might only capture 15% at one time. Best of all, with Covid-19 and safe working practices in mind, this is carried out at a much longer working distance than traditional tests helping keep you and us as safe as possible from Covid-19.
